For his birthday, Ben got a stomp rocket from Auntie Gwen. We haven't gotten around to playing with it yet, but brought it out to Grandma and Dziadziu this weekend. And it was a hit! Ben loved it and was really good at getting the rocket to fly! Nick tried it and was able to get little fizzy flights, but not quite the power that Ben had. Ben is literally twice the size of Nick, so that might have something to do with it.

Tree Swing
Adam was in a wedding in the Milan area this weekend, so we all spent the weekend at Grandma and Dziadziu's. And there was a surprise for Ben when we got there - a new tree swing! It was pretty cool - even daddy thought so!
Tembo Trail
This Friday we went to the opening of the new Tembo Trail at the zoo. Tembo means elephant in Swahili (I think it is Swahili) and it is a new exhibit for the elephants, hippos, rhinos, lions, otters, and meerkats. We were there for the grand opening, which included a few speakers, some African dancing and music and of course the animals! It was a bit crazy, especially as we were literally swept into the exhibit by the crowd. But once the crowd dispersed and spread out, it was all good. The new trail is awesome! Way better than I expected. And the new elephant house is awesome! It made me kind of feel bad thinking about the old elephant house and that it was a little sub-par. Now they are in the lap of luxury.

Poor Nick - he wasn't feeling good. He had a sore throat and just hung out in the stroller.
Baby Lucas and his mom, Renee, playing with the paper banner. It was quite entertaining watching them take down the sign and then play with it.
The wall of the elephant enclosure has little spy holes to see the hippos
This is the best pictures I could get of the three of them. Andrew and Cameryn were game, but Ben was having none of the picture taking.
The indoor elephant house - it's totally awesome!
Checking out the mole rats or something like that
Look! You can actually see the lion, AND he's awake!!

The Wagon
Last week we got a new wagon. My friend Shari came upon it and asked if we would like it. It's pretty nice. It has doors for the boys and a little hidden storage space under the back seat. The only thing it is missing is seat belts, but I am looking into ways to remedy that. The boys LOVE playing in it!

Bubbles, Bubbles, Everywhere
Ben got a bubble gun for Easter and I finally let him play with it last night. It was quite fun. He blew through a whole bottle of bubbles in about 20 minutes. Nick loved it!
Hang Time
He figured out the rings quickly. And he can hold on for quite a while. I give him another year before he can do flips.
Happy Birthday, Cameryn!
Saturday was a big day! On top of moving mulch and getting the swingset, it was also Cameryn's birthday party! The theme was Minnie and Mickey Mouse (a fan favorite of Ben and Cameryn's)
Tiffany made these super cute oreo pops, shaped like mouse ears
Cameryn got lots of great gifts. Ben got her a princess dress-up dress that he picked out all by himself. Cameryn gave him a hug and kiss for his present. Then Ben went back for another kiss. We are going to have a talk with him.
