Happy Halloween!

It was a fun Halloween with a witch, a raptor and a Ninja turtle, and Adam. (heehee) I took the boys around the neighborhood while the dad's set up camp by the front yard fire pit to pass out candy. The boys walked around trick or treating for about 25 minutes and then were happy to come home. They had full buckets after 25 minutes, and I was perfectly fine with that!

Pumpkin Time!

How brave am I? I let the boys carve their own pumpkins this year. With a knife. And there was no blood! Honestly, me cutting off the top was probably the most dangerous. Nick had to start off easy with panting and work his way up.

Livin' The Dream

It's a short dream, but oh, to have two children argue over which vacuum they got to use, and then to USE it. It was glorious... And I didn't even ask them do vacuum. I just got out the vacuum and they both jumped up asking if they could help. Why yes, yes you can help.

Swim Lessons Time

Now that cross country is done, I decided it was time to get serious about learning to swim. Both boys are in swim lessons at the Y right now. They both are enjoying it and I think Ben is getting more comfortable swimming on his own. The goal is for him to pass swim tests next summer.

Halloween Eve

On Halloween Eve, I dressed up for our annual costume contest at work then headed over to Ben's class party.

This little lady (a co-worker's daughter) was totally fascinated with my green wig

The 1st graders got to walk with their 4th grade buddies for the Halloween Parade. Ben DID NOT want his picture taken during the parade. He hid from me as much as he could.

A Nature Walk, brought to you by Ben Wolny.

Pretty Fall Colors

A few picture of fall colors. I didn't really get a chance to get out and take good ones this year...
