My cousin Heather married her man, Nate last weekend. It was a beautiful fall wedding! They had a dessert table. I made their cutting cake and cupcakes for the reception.
Ben's Cub Scout den did a service project, making lunches for the homeless in Toledo. They made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, colored lunch bags and wrote notes for the lunches.
A trip to the zoo with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sarah. Note Ben's awesome outfit. Luckily it was Little Boo at the Zoo (though we didn't participate) so no one really noticed how ridiculous he looked.
Got The Call, again, from daycare. This time he jumped off a tire and landed on head first onto a log. The teachers were a little worked up over the possibility of a concussion so Adam took him to the ER. It was nothing. Just a good knock to the head. Three days later he added a random black eye to the mix.
We took a short trip to a pumpkin patch a few miles down the road as something to do to get out of the house on a beautiful fall day. The pumpkin patch was a little picked over, but we got a few from the barn.
We took the boys to a UT football game. It was a noon game against Eastern Michigan. UT has been undefeated so far this season and is nationally ranked 20th. I got seats one row back from the field so the boys could see very well. They really enjoyed the game! Ben did not enjoy pictures that day, though.
