The first day of 1st grade and Pre-K! Both boys were so excited to start school!

The Gang's Back Together, Again!

It was a sad event that brought us all together again, but we made the best of it when Candi and the kids came into town for the weekend. Candi's grandmother, who was 107, passed away. But we celebrated her life with a cul de sac reunion. 

Another Day, Another Trip to the Zoo

Our end of summer trip to the zoo (Ben got to come this time). Unfortunately, I suppose, the zoo was packed, AGAIN. We didn't get to see the new baby orangutan or the new red pandas. But Ben did get to check out the new playground and splash pad.

It's Official!

It's official! Little Janie is officially my cousin now! I was honored to be invited to her formal adoption hearing and reception. Janet and John are truely blessed with such a sweet daughter :) 

A Little Splish Splash at the Zoo

Nick, Austin and I went to the zoo to check out the new splash pad and pheasantry. Ben didn't make the best choices at church that morning, so he had to stay home.

I got to send an evening with Maddie and Grant while their parents went to a wedding. It was a beautiful summer night on the river!

To The Pool!

It finally got semi warm enough to go to the pool again. The boys played with friends from CDC and then with Lexi and Austin. Lexi even went off the diving board!
