A Trip To The Farmers Market
Wednesday we said goodbye to Aunt Sarah. Thursday it was back to reality of work and daycare, but Thursday night we made our way to the Perrysburg Farmers Market downtown. It was a bit crazy and crowded (a little challenging for me), but the kids had a great time! Ben and Cameryn walked around the entire market holding hands. It was very cute (and great photos for the high school graduation parties in 14 years). Nick didn't like being odd man out, so he had to join in and hold hands, too. They have a band playing across the street after the market, so we headed over there to listen for a bit. The kids had a lot of fun running around and chasing each other. We actually met up with another family from daycare and another friend of Tiffany's so the kids had lots of fun. Of course, when there is lots of fun and little nap, the evening always ends in meltdown. And Nick did not disappoint. He screamed the entire way home. He slept good that night.
Balyeat Adventures at Cedar Point
Last Tuesday the boys went to daycare while Sarah and I headed to Cedar Point! I'm not really sure when I was there last, but I'm almost positive I have riden the Maverick before, so it was sometime since the boys were born. After waiting in line for 1.75 hours for the new Gatekeeper, we decided to enjoy our day and just get the fast passes and not deal with lines and tween/teenagers. We had a great time, though it was a bit chilly, especially on the lake side of the park, which is course where all the new rides are. But it was a great day and we both survived with minimal pain the next day. I think all of my pain the following day was really from Zumba on Monday night. It was good to know we still got it!

A Trip to the Zoo with Aunt Sarah
Last Monday we took Aunt Sarah to the zoo to see all the baby animals. We started at the new favorite spot, the baby wallabies. This time I got a much better picture of Willa, the 8 month old baby. Her little bjorn pouch is on the ground behind her.
The boys were very into reading the signs. Ben took a note pad along and was taking notes and making observations.
It was pretty warm, so the animals were just kind of relaxing. Definitely better to go on cool or rainy days to see frisky animals!
I don't think we have ever seen the lemurs outside. This totally threw Ben for a loop. He was very concerned about the monkeys and lemurs switching houses. The little baby is the furthest right on the ground.
Aunt Sarah got the boys little googly eye presents. Ben got dinosaur and Nick got a turtle, but Nick pretty much took over both.
The polar bears were getting an after noon snack of fish. It was great to watch the babies try to catch the fish or dive for them!
Selfies at the zoo!

A Father's Day and Aunt Sarah Visit Treat
After the boys got home on Sunday, we headed over to Penguin Palace after dinner for a Father's Day treat with Aunt Sarah. Mmmm, yummy ice cream!
I like the pinky action
Sarah and the Llama
So, ssshhhh, don't tell Ben, but while he was camping, Aunt Sarah and I went to a first birthday party with all sorts of animals! Sarah's favorite was the llama. She really wanted to ride it, but the llama was off duty when we got there. The llama had some crazy teeth and HUGE eyes! It was a little bit creepy, but Sarah was determined to get her picture with it.

Multipurpose Corn Hole
The boys found lots of good uses for the corn hole boards. Ben used them as building blocks. Nick used them as a slide and Adam used them as a changing table.
