Nick was ready to go for a walk the other day! He decided to climb into the backpack all by himself.

DIY Baby Grand
Ben's DIY baby grand piano. And a grammy worthy rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the Ben Wolny Remix.
Brotherly Snuggling
Boy are these two going to love the title of this post someday! I was just happy they were both on the couch and there was no hitting, slapping, pushing, shoving or body slamming.

Island Hopper
Ben has mastered the island hoppers at the park. Either last year or earlier this year (I can't remember), he wouldn't do it without someone right next to him. Now he just hops on and away he goes!
Update: I went back and found it - Ben attempting to do this back in March.

Parties By Barb
This past week I organized a birthday 'bomb' for my co-worker, Lori's, 40th birthday. We do 0 birthdays up pretty big at my office. I got a Mardi Gras bomb for the 2 month anniversary of my 30th birthday (when I got back from maternity leave). Lori LOVES sweets and fruit, so I decided to go with a Sweets Shoppe theme. I made the cake, the decorations, and table-scape while everyone in my department chipped in for sweets and fruit. Lori was surprised and excited about her Sweets Shoppe. These pictures only show about half of what we had total. The cupcakes, cake pops, white chocolate fondue and strawberries are not pictured! Needless to say, the company is still working away on eating all the sweets!
I am totally in love with my tissue paper chandelier. It will be moving into my office later this week.
These little candles for the bunting were the only 40's thing I allowed. There is no over the hill stuff on my watch!
And what is a sweets shoppe without a private label bottled water?!
Photos Downtown
Sunday evening we headed downtown (Perrysburg) for some dinner and a little walk around downtown. Downtown Perrysburg has some great locations for photo ops. My children, however, just were not interested in those locations and instead wanted to play next to the driveway barrier. Oh well. You work with what you got.
A Big Boy Room!
Nick has finally made the big move upstairs! He is sleeping in Ben's old crib and seems to be adjusting well. We still need to do a little sorting and cleaning of the rest of the room, but it suits him just fine for bed time and getting dressed.
His first night in his new room. It was pitch black in his room so focusing was difficult and it was an incredibly high ISO, so it is grainy, too. But none the less, a picture of sleeping Nick.
A good morning wake up call from Ben
One Small Step for Man Kind, One Giant Leap for the Wolny's
This weekend, Adam and I decided it was time to finally take back the house! Step one: move Nick upstairs to his big-boy bedroom. Step two: tackle all the toys in the living room and Nick's former bedroom/play room. Step three: remove all things children from the living room.
The playroom before:
You literally could not walk, nor see the carpet.
2 hours later and 2 boys down for a nap...
Ta Da!
Yup, lasted the whole 1.5 hours the boys' naps overlapped and then it all when to hell again. Though, all the toys have stayed in the playroom so far.

Pants! We Don't Need No Stink'n Pants!
Well, as you can imagine, after playing in the mud and sand after a rainy morning, the boys were quite disgustingly dirty. To the point that they were all de-pants for lunch. All four boys got on the counter to help make lunch which included fresh from the garden tomatoes and blueberries. The boys were in charge of sorting the good and bad tomatoes.
Enjoying the 'good ones' :)
Fun and Play with the Phibbs
Last Friday we took a trip to Ann Arbor to see Alex and Luke Phibbs. It was a raining day to start, so we played in the house then went outside before lunch. The boys had a great time playing in the fort and in the sand and mud. The boys seemed to always be scattered around the yard, so I wasn't able to get a picture of all 4 of them.
T-Ball Medal
And with the end of t-ball, came metals! Which was quite fitting as it was Olympics time. Ben was very excited about his metal. He even did the Olympic thing of biting it (though that was not his intention, he was just fascinated with putting it in his mouth)
