Just Relaxing - Getting Comfy

Or maybe he was trying to escape.

The Inaugural Camping Trip

This weekend was supposed to be Ben's inaugural camping adventure in Dziadziu's (grandpa's) new camper. However, they only got to camp for about 3 hours before a bad storm blew through and they came back in the house. But Ben got a special surprise for his first camping adventure - a new Cars sleeping bag!! He was pretty excited about it! Hopefully next time the boys will get to camp out the whole night and have a bon-fire. The weather just didn't want to cooperate this past weekend...

Mmmm, Water

Nick is now started to learn how to use a cup. He is still totally shocked the first time he takes a drink from the cup.

Little Fishies

This weekend was the first week of swim classes for the fall session. And Nick's first time! He really liked the water and was even kicking his little legs as I moved him across the pool. He is the smallest guy in his class. I think the next youngest might be 12 months or so.

And of course Ben is in swim class again. He is supposed to be in the 2-3 year old class, but it's the same thing as the younger kid class. The boys are in two separate classes with Nick going first and then Ben.

Practicing for Camping

Practicing 'sleeping' outside. My favorite part is where he claps the lights off. Have no idea where he picked that up.

Update: I finally realized where he learned the clapping to turn the lights on/off - from the movie Madagascar! Alex the Lion claps to turn the light off in his zoo home.

Bald, Blue Eyes and Chubby Cheeks

Six Months!

My baby is six months old already! :(  and :)  We are only a few days into month six and Nick is starting to get very good at sitting. I have also caught him on all fours in a pre-crawl stance. I am hoping that Nick does not pull a Ben and once he starts the movement phase just rocket straight to walking. I would be ok with him taking his time in mobility.

Jumpy Dancing

Raspberries

Our house is full of raspberries these days. Nick has gotten very good at them and of course Ben has to keep pace. One night all Nick did was blow raspberries non-stop for probably 40 minutes.

Grrrreat...

I do not foresee this ending well one of these times.

Ben's World

We got Ben a camera when Nick was born and now 6 months later, I have finally downloaded the pictures. Out of 800 pictures, there were a handful of decent ones. But really it is just funny to see what Ben has taken pictures off for the last six months. Most of the pictures were of his stomach, his nose or the floor. Here are a few of the decent ones.
