Adam's Dream Come True

With ALL the RAIN came the need to cut the grass twice a week. And Adam's dream for the last 11 years (since the day he found out I was pregnant) finally came true - kids to help cut the grass. 

Summer Backyard Camping

The one day in all of June that it didn't rain, the boys slept in the backyard. Notice how green everything is - because we lived in a rain forest for over a month.

Between all the rain in June, there were a few nights with beautiful sunsets!

The Natural History Museum at the Zoo

After, literally years, of waiting, the Natural History Museum opened at the zoo! And inside...the long awaited Komodo Dragon!! To say Ben was excited is an understatement. Besides the Komodo Dragon they have lots and lots of exhibits. We spent almost 2 hours and didn't see everything! 

Target Photo Op

Who doesn't take a picture with the Target Dog every time they go to Target? Which, by the way, Nick asks for a picture every single time.

Astronomy Park Cleveland

After the first park with the climbing wall, we went to the Astronomy park. It was really cool! We had a planetary demo/show and then walked the park, which outlines the planets. It also has four corners of the Great Pyramid, spaced in scale distances apart so you can get an idea of how big it really is. It was a really cool park, and we hope to go back next time we are in Cleveland (and it's not the middle of winter)

Rock Climbing All Stars

The Cleveland metro park had a rock climbing wall that the kids loved! I think they probably spent 45 minutes on it before we had to drag them away. Getting down the first time was a bit traumatic for everyone, but once that was behind them, they all went up and down numerous times.
