Playing Legos with Monster

I don't think Monster was to happy about her living room floor being taken over by legos. But that didn't stop Nick from building a new set in the middle of her floor. 

Science Experiment Assistants

I was helping with a girls in engineering event at UT and our hands on experiment was to make bouncy balls (terrible idea). To try (and fail) to make it go more smoothly, I made up kits for the girls so we could just set stuff up and the girls could get to mixing the ingredients. The boys helped with adding colorant to the liquid latex for colored bouncy balls. The mess was very minimal at my house, not minimal at all once the girls started making them at UT. 

Snowboarding!

Spoiler alert - there were NO injuries! Adam took the boys snowboarding at Alpine Valley in Michigan. They stuck to the bunny hill most of the day with one or two runs on the bigger hill at the end of the day. Overall, they did really well for their first time on snow!

Proving I Can Still Drive a Manual

Thanks to Donnie and his manual transmission Mustang Cobra, I was able to prove to myself that I can still drive a stick! Ben was jealous.
