On May 7th, we celebrated Ben's First Holy Communion! It was a beautiful day and he looked so hansom :) 

Cub Scout Cross Over

Ben had Cub Scout cross over at Camp Miakonda again, this year. It was a fun time, though a little chilly. Since I wanted to take pictures, I nominated Aunt Sarah to be Ben's helper, since Adam was passing out the stuff for his den. There were a few funny looks ;) 

A Deep Pokemon Discussion

Austin and Nick engaged in a very serious conversation about Pokemon cards. Ugh, those cards...

Cub Scout Cake Bingo

Toward the end of the year, the cub scouts have a cake party. All the kids get to make cakes and bring them. They play bingo and when someone gets a bingo, they get to pick a cake to take home. I made the boys each their own cake and frosted it, and then gave them the tub of sprinkles. And this is what they created...

Muffins with Mom

Nick was all about the selfies. He at least took a picture with me at Muffins with Mom at school. Ben scarfed down his and went to find his friends. At least I have Nick. He loves his mommy. 

Ben's Turn

He had a good run, but at the ripe ol age of 8, Ben earned his first stitches! It was a random accident. He kinda tripped on his feet getting up off a step and planted his chin into the cement. Four stitches later, he had a war wound and a scar. Nick was so excited that it wasn't him getting stitches and that he got to actually play with all the toys in the room this time.
