You didn't think we made it out of Disney Springs with no souvenirs, did you? Not when there was a huge Star Wars store right as we walked in. All three boys built their own light sabers. It took quite some time to pick out all the components and put them all together, but oh, the joy!

Disney Vacation '16: Pool Time!
The house we rented had an awesome pool. The boys had lot of fun playing basketball and diving for rings. Ben learned to swim pretty well over the summer and is even swimming underwater now. He did pretty good at diving for rings. But they both loved 'slam dunking' the basketball.
Disney Vacation '16: Sprinkles Cupcakes
Nothing like some overpriced cupcakes to make your day better! We hit up the Sprinkles at Disney Springs for some dessert after our lunch at the Irish Pub. The boys (and I) had fun watching the 'professionals' frost cupcakes. And it make me realize, I could do that! They were some pretty delicious cupcakes!
Disney Vacation '16: The Lego Store
Our first full day at Disney, we decided to hang low and spend time at Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) and in the pool at the house. There is a Lego Land in Orlando, but why send money when the Lego store is just as good! The boys played at the race track for probably 45 minutes, and would have stayed for hours, had we let them. While they were playing legos, the rest of us walked around and looked at the impressive Lego displays. I would like to note, nothing was purchased (yay for small victories!)

Disney Vacation '16: A Rainbow for our Arrival
It was Balyeat Vacation time! We were 'those parents' that pulled their kids out of school to go to Disney World. They boys had been in school for five weeks, so it wasn't terrible. And actually a lot of families at school had gone to Disney the week before us!
As we flew over our house, I took a picture. Our neighborhood is in the upper left hand side of the interstate Y in the middle of the picture. It's pretty easy to spot our house from the sky thanks to the 475/75 split.
The house we stayed in was just outside the park, next to Celebration. It was of course raining when we got settled into the house (because it's Florida in late summer) but we got a nice rainbow out of it!

Old Fashioned Marbles
Adam decided it was time to introduce the boys (and the neighborhood) to old fashioned marbles. He made a giant marbles board and got a whole bunch of marbles. The kids actually had a lot of fun playing.

Fall Soccer Season
Ben had another great soccer season. He played for St Rose again and loved playing with his friends. They didn't win as many games this session as they had in the past, which was a good learning lesson. He still had lots of fun, though!
