Perrysburg Pool Time

Tiffany and I took the kids back to the P'burg pool the next day. The high dive king was in his glory. And even persuaded Lexi to do it with him! And of course, ice cream dinner afterwards. 

A High Dive Monster Is Born

Ben became a fairly proficient swimmer this summer. He passed the swim test at the daycare pool. I tried to get him to do the test at the P'burg pool, but he wouldn't do it. Adam took the boys to a night time cub scout pool party, and of course, that was when Ben decided he could take the swim test. Well, he did, and passed, and bought himself the ability to do the high dive. And then he became addicted.

Water Bubbling Up Out of the Earth

This one time, the water line in the circle busted. It took a week to get it repaired and three months later, the ground is still torn up and a mess from where they had to dig up the water line. Not pleased. 

The Gun Show

The boys got to practice their target skills with the bb gun and arrows. Ben actually did learn quite a bit at cub scout camp and I know he never would have learned, and retained, any of it had Adam taught him the rules of bb guns. Ben's not too bad of a shot. Nick needs some work.

Food Trucks and a Milkshake

Nick and I hit up the weekly food trucks in Perrysburg. We enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter milkshake for dessert. It was delicious! 

CDC Summer Camp

It Was A Hot One!

One of the hottest days of the year, at least 93° outside, and this is what Monster was doing. 

Cub Scout Camp

Ben spent a hot week at cub scout camp at Camp Miakonda. He LOVED it. He go to learn how to shoot bb guns, sling shots, bows and arrows, ride dirt bikes, fish and lots of other fun things. We all went to family night, but unfortunately it go stormed out before we could do much. Ben is already looking forward to going again next year, which will be the 100th anniversary of Camp Miakonda. 

Another Beautiful Day in the Sandbox

Ben and Lexi sent the entire weekend playing in the sandbox, living it up!

Some Kids Are Too Smart For Their Own Good

Ben wanted to play connect 4 with me. He was the light colored pieces. If you look at the lower right corner, you will see that he trapped me. No matter which move I made, he won. He beat me 3 times in a row. I don't play with him anymore. 

My New Work Neighbor

This little fella must have lost his mama. He was wandering around the yard at work for a week. Luckily I only encountered him from the other side of the window.
