Field Trip to the Farm

Ben's class took a field trip to a local farm for their end of the year trip. Ben LOVED the farm. He talked about it for weeks. He still asks to go back and see all the animals. He got to play with baby chicks, milk a cow, and go for a barrel ride. 

And It's Straight to Bed...

The boys 'decorated' the house for Adam while he was on his fishing trip. They went straight to bed after washing all the dirt off the side of the house...

Some Adorable Pre-K School Pictures!

Nick's Spring Pre-K school pictures. He picked out his outfit. He really wanted to wear the lightening bolt tie because it made him 'look cute'. 

Suffering Though Soccer

We only had one day of cold and rain for soccer. And it was a lot of rain. Nick and I huddled under the big tent umbrella while Ben had no qualms about playing in the pouring rain.

Muffins with Mom

It was Ben's last lone muffins with mom. Next year he has to share it with Nick. We actually had some yummy doughnuts and Ben showed me around his classroom. 

The Glorious Sandbox

There's nothing like 5 hours straight in your giant sand box on a beautiful spring afternoon. 

Spring Soccer

Ben played CYO soccer this spring with St. Rose. He was so excited to play with his friends! He did a good job and learned some new skills. It was a short season due to weather, but still a fun season!

The TC Ringleader

Lexi - the TC ringleader, megaphone and all. All those boys following her directions. That's a lot of power for an 8 year old.

Twinky Day at the Zoo

A mommy and Nick day at the zoo - and we decided to be twinkies :) Matching hats and sunglasses!

And we got to see the baby orangutan! 

Of Course It Was going to Snow in April

We got a pretty serious amount of snow the first Friday in April. We ended up with about 7 inches of snow. The kids had lots of fun playing in the last snowfall of the year, which was also the largest snowfall of the year. 

Jump for the Love of Spring Break

To expend some spring break energy, I took the boys to Sky Zone to jump around for a bit. Always a good time! 

Belated Fancy Birthday Dinner - Yum Yum!!

We had a fancy belated birthday dinner at Restaurant R'Evolution. Unfortunately Adam was too sick to come (strep throat) but we enjoyed it for him. My dinner came with a friend. It was amazingly delicious!! 

Flat Stanly Rides a Plane

Ben had a Flat Stanley project over spring break. FS took a plane ride from NOLA to Detroit.
