The Dog('s) House

I don't know why Monster was hanging out in the place house today. It was the first time I've ever seen her in it.

Funny Faces

Four Months!

Four months (and one week)! It's so funny to me that Nick is only 2oz bigger than Ben was at this exact age. Two tall, skinny peanuts! At four months Nick is rolling both ways, scootching, has two teeth and is sleeping through the night (woohoo!)

Getting Pretty Fast

Someone it getting pretty fast at this rolling over thing

Friendly Competition

A friendly competition to see who could get more food on their face. At least Ben got most of his in his mouth (2 containers of yogurt) while Nick still wasn't into his cereal.

Um, Not So Yummy

Yesterday was the big day -- cereal for Nick!

Getting a good look at the cereal

Um, what is this? Yeah, no thanks

Too tired to eat anything but a bottle...
Nick wasn't super thrilled with his first taste of cereal. He didn't like it. He was very tired, so that might have been part of it. We'll keep trying

Roommates

It only took me 4 months, but Ben and Nick are finally rooming together for the first time tonight. We'll see how it goes!

Little Giggles

Little Nick giggles. He is really ticklish and has just started laughing when you tickle him. He can giggle better, but I never seem to be able to catch him on video.

And Then There Were Two

Teeth that is. It's really hard to get a decent picture of bottom teeth on a 4 month old, but trust me, Nick now has 2 bottom teeth!

Good Bye Old House!

Today was Ben and Nick's last day at Sharon's old house. They are moving from Holland to Whitehouse this weekend and Monday we will be going to the new house. Everyone is very excited about the new house - with 2 play rooms and a big fenced in yard and the coming addition of the most awesomest swing set ever. The kids don't really understand, they have just thought it was cool that they had some much extra room to run around inside this week with the majority of the furniture having already been moved. Ben is going to be extra excited about the new house once he figures out that it backs up to a horse farm and he'll get to see horses every day.

Here is Sharon and her daughter, Katie with the boys.

Hmmmm

Last night while Adam and I were doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen after Ben had gone to bed, I put Nick down on his play mat. On his back. In the center of the mat. And this is what I found. Hmmmm... If the cross bars hadn't been there, he would have been much farther away, I think. I have not witnessed the full rolling from back to tummy yet, but obviously he has it figured out. He's also really good at getting up on his knees. Thankfully his upper body isn't as strong as his lower body, though, so he doesn't get too far, too quickly. Yet.

Talking to the Fishies

Nick has been fascinated with the fish in his crib this week. He has been talking up a storm to them, pointing at them and touching them.

Poor Baby!!

Poor Ben! Monday I picked him up from Sharon's and he had a fever :( So, after running the gamet of what could be ailing him, I wrestled him (literally) to the ground, pried open his mouth and found that his top two molars had popped out. Now, I don't know if his fever was from his teeth or not, but it's my best guess at this point. And everyone says that kids don't have fevers with teeth, but Ben is definitely the exception to that. But whatever it was that was wrong, it was gone about 24 hours after it started and he was back to normal!

I let him sleep on the couch because he was just such a sad little boy
