Greenfield Village
Today was a great day! After waking up at 10! we decided to go to Greenfield Village at the Henry Ford Museum. It was a beautiful day! Ben enjoyed seeing all the classic cars, old machinery, horses, trains and an ol' time baseball game. In fact, Ben enjoyed it so much, he didn't even take a nap the whole day, just took everything in. Daddy can't wait until Ben is old enough to learn about all the Thomas Edison and old machines and steam engines and pullies and levers that powered the first machines (poor kid's going to get earful someday). A trip to Greenfield Village might just become a yearly tradition!

Silly Mommy
So, even though it is June, I found Ben's winter coat that he never wore because it was too big and decided to take pictures of him in it, because it is just too cute! Even though the coat is 3-6 months, there is a very good chance it will still fit him this fall! The thing is huge!

Swimming!
Ben went swimming in the backyard. It was actually a blow up duckie bath tub, but it is also the perfect pool size. Ben did not stop moving in the water. He's getting prepared for vacation at the beach later this month!

I Think You Can Call This Sitting...
Ben can 'sit' for over 4 minutes now. He leans forward (not quiet upright yet) and nose dives when he's done sitting.

Maumee Bay S.P.
A beautiful day for a walk out at the Bay. All Monster cared about was the baby geese and sea gulls...

So Sad, All Gone
Ben was not pleased when his cereal was all gone. Perhaps if more of it had stayed in his mouth, he would be happier. The thumb that chases the spoon into his mouth isn't very helpful in retaining cereal in his mouth.

4 Months and On the Move
Ben is 4 months now. He weighed in a 12lb 2oz, 25 in long at his last check up. He's a tall skinny kid. He now eats (or devours) cereal, so we expect the weight to come up a bit. But with the cereal has come 10 hours of continous sleep! Yay!! Other develops of late include feet in the mouth, thumb sucking (which is be discontinued if I have anything to say about it), and teething. I expect we will see the first tooth within a week.
