It was Nick and I's last 'Mommy and Nick' day until Ben goes back to school, so Nick got to pick what he wanted to do. He decided he wanted to go to Imagination Station. He always asks to go there. The little kid area was quiet, but the rest of the place was hooping with school kids on field trips.

A Sad Goodbye Party
The weeks long celebration of the neighbors leaving included a good bye party for the kids. Candi had the party at the party around the corner. I'm not sure Nick left the merri-go-round much. Ben wanted to play with the 'big kids', the 4th and 5th graders. He had to be reigned back in a few times and learned the hard way how to play Red Rover. It was fun playing at the park with all the kids.

Kindergarten Field Day
Ben's first field day. It was a full day of physically activity! I went for the afternoon session, and the kids were really starting to get worn out. I heard from the teachers that lunch was completely silent. The kids were too tired to even talk. Hmm, maybe they are on to something with all this physical activity relating to behavior in school. Anyways, Ben had a lot of fun. He had the schedule memorized and knew what order their events were in. And of course, they all got a popsick treat after their hard day of sporting activities!
Tooth Fairy, Oh Tooth Fairy
So, OF COURSE, Ben would lose his first tooth while I was away in Hocking Hills. I knew he would because that's how he rolls. The first wiggly tooth came out on Saturday. He was at Grandma and Dzaidzau's when the tooth fairy came. He got $5 from the tooth fairy with a bonus $1 for the fairy visiting him at grandma's house.

Old Man's Cave - Hocking Hills
Some of the pictures I took from our hike through Old Man's Cave. I want to go back yet this summer. For an easy 3 hour drive, it's totally worth it!!
