The Guinea Pig Discovery

Ben had the first Friday in March off from school, so we spent the cold day at the zoo. The boys discovered the guinea pigs in Nature's Neighborhood. The people at the zoo bring them out and put the guinea pig in your lap and you can brush and pet them. The boys loved it! 

The Love of Painting

Nick got a wooden truck and plane and paints for his birthday. As soon as we got home, he wanted to paint. He was very meticulous in his painting and making sure it was just right. 

Cousin Pile Up

It was a blanky, pillow, cousin pile up!

A Thomas The Tank Engine 4th Birthday

Nick had a Thomas themed Wolny family birthday party. I made this cake based on a picture I found online. I thought it turned out pretty cool. Nick loved it, so that's all that mattered. That and it tasted good. 

He takes the most ridiculous pictures, sometimes...

And presents time - he got a soft hoodie blanket, lego plates, Spot It games and painting supplies. He was one happy little boy!

Wolny Cousins Snow Fun

We celebrated Nick's birthday with Eva and Elaina. The older kids had fun sledding and playing in the snow. It was a bit too windy out for me, so I took pictures from inside the house. 

Oh, Those Silly Polar Bears!

We may have gone to the zoo to see the spring gardens, but it was cold and the polar bears were loving it! The two females and male were together (not sure which were which). One was sleeping in the cave while the other two were gallivanting around. The one polar bear was itchy and just couldn't seem to get the right spot! I would also like to say those paws are about the size of Nick's head.
