May Showers Bring...DIRT!

I don't really feel like this post needs any explaining.

And don't think Monster is exempt - she's usually the muddiest of them all!

See How Our Garden Grows!

The boys are keeping a watchful eye on the garden. Adam kept the carrots from last year in and they are perfect now! If Nick could reach them, I'm afraid he would pull them straight out of the ground and eat one whenever he got hungry! He loves the fresh carrots.

A Mother's Day Walk at the Park

On Mother's Day we headed to Providence Dam for a walk in the park. We got to see the mules and the canal boat. The boys were fascinated with the mules. We had perfect timing and got to see them swing the canal boat around to head back to the dock. It was pretty cool. The uncool part - the 8 mosquito bites I got! No one else had any. Apparently mosquito's don't understand you are supposed to be nice to moms on mothers day!

Happy Birthday, Cameryn!

Last Saturday we helped Cameryn celebrate her big 5th birthday! To help her celebrate her Frozen themed birthday, I made her an Elsa cake. She was very (very, very) lucky to receive an Elsa, Anna, Sven and Olaf Barbie figure set for her birthday and we used the Elsa doll for the cake. We forgot to take a picture of the inside, but the layers were blue ombre! And it was pretty tasty. Cameryn was very excited for her birthday, all the fun gifts she got and her pretty cake :)

The Dragons

Ben's spring 2014 outdoor soccer team - the Dragons!

Some action shots from the second game. He still couldn't stay on his feet...But he did score one goal.

Aarg!

Nick and his hook. He had to bring the hook to Ben's soccer game, and since we were going to be there a long time because of pre-game pictures, I indulged. As we were walking from the car, he was bending down to slash the gravel path, slashing posts, slashing me...He was having a good time, if not slowing me down with all his stops.

So, how do you keep a 3 year old occupied for 45 minutes while his brother waits to take team soccer pictures - iPad. The magic weapon. He was cracking me up with his legs crossed and head buried behind the screen in his little chair!

Muffins with Moms!

My first Muffins with Mom at Ben's school! Last Friday (before Mother's Day), his school hosted a little muffins with moms party. It was pretty cute. Ben was excited to have me come to his classroom for a bit in the morning.

Bubbles with Cousins - in the cold

After opening presents, the kids when outside to blow bubbles and play with Eva's new bubble machine. But it was cold outside! Kevin was the only one brave enough to take them out! They ran around chasing bubbles for a bit, then came inside to try the bubble machine in the basement.
