I'll Just Help Myself

So Ben decided he was hungry before going to bed this evening. So what did he do? He went into the kitchen, opened the pretzel/bread drawer, got out the pretzels and helped himself to probably a dozen pretzels. Guess it's time to put a lock on that drawer...

Had to get the other stuff out of the way so he could get to the pretzels

Where Sticks Belong

Ben really likes sticks. Now he has finally figured out that they go in the yard waste bag. The other day he picked up a stick and walked all the way to the other side of the house to put it in the bag.

Do Not Disturb

Naked cowboy here after the pool. I forgot to bring a change of clothes so he rode home in a diaper. And then fell asleep. He ended up taking a 3 hour nap. He was a tired little boy.

Pool Man

Another trip to the Perrysburg pool. Ben really likes going to the pool and is getting very independent about walking into the water by himself and playing with the other kids.

I *Heart* My Foot Stool

Ben really likes the gliding foot stool. He stands next to it, lays on it, climbs on it, rocks it, knocks it over...There's always something fun to do with the gliding footstool

He's No Brazilian Samba Dancing Baby - Yet

Well, he's no Brazilian samba dancing baby (search for brazilian samba dancing baby on youtube), but he's working on his moves!

Sandman

Mr. Sandman decided he was tired while playing in his sandbox today so he layed down...and was COVERED in sand. Now I need to go clean all the sand out of the bathtub.

Boys vs Girls

A difference between boys and girls - or at least Ben and Cameryn. Notice Ben's clothes, face, arms, hair: all covered in food. Cameryn ate the exact same thing as Ben for dinner and notice: not a speck of food on her. Ben got an involuntary dip in the pool to wash off before he could go in the house.

Clean Sweep

Who knew a broom could be so much fun. I'll have to start using Ben's mad sweeping skills to help clean the kitchen from now on. There is no sound on this video - I turned it off because the a/c was really annoying in the background

Playing Soccer?

Well, if he wants to, he can kick the ball pretty well. I think Sharon's son (who is a soccer star) has the kids doing drills every day :) I don't know where the whole rolling over the ball came from, though.

Backyard Shenanigans

Getting the most out of the backyard toys

A Playhouse!

Another awesome garage sale find - a Little Tikes cube. It's missing a few pieces, but for $5, it makes a great play house.

Ben discovered where his outside toys live...

Sandbox!

Finally! After a long hunt, and driving around Waterville for an hour, I finally found a sandbox at a garage sale - for $5! Now, we just have to learn that sand stays in the sandbox...

The Summer's First Visit

To the Perrysburg pool! After a fun filled day of garage-saling, we were all hot and ready for dip in the pool! After a little trepidation, Ben started to get used to the pool. Once he saw the other kids play, he started to get into it. He really liked that he could walk into the water and he liked the little waterfall.
