July 3, 2019 We headed over to Fort Meigs for the fireworks again this year. We rode our bikes over and find a good spot inside the fort and then waited. The kids played catch and went exploring a bit.

The Baseball Mascot
The Black Minor and PeeWee teams both had their very own baby Elkhound mascot this season! She went to a lot of games and had fun looking at all the people and getting petted.

More Baseball - Nick
There was a lot of baseball in June...Nick had a rough team this year, which a lot of 1st graders and not many 2nd graders. But, he still had fun!

That Sure Is A Lot of Water
Wicket's first trip to Lake Erie, and boy was that a lot of water! The water was lapping up into the parking lot of Cooly Canal and the pier at Magee Marsh. Wicket wasn't quite sure what to think of it. And the May flies were terrible!! I had about 50 on me at one time!
Ottawa Wildlife Refuge
We took the boys and dog out to Ottawa wildlife refuge on the lake to see what there was to see. The boys had a great time finding wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle! The boys counted all the animals and got all the way up to 100!
