Last Day of 1st and 3rd Grade

The last day of 1st and 3rd grade :(  It was a good school year for both boys. 

The Mosquito Attack

First, we had a really, really wet late spring. May and early June was just non stop rain. 

Second, Adam got a shiny new bike. And what did he want to do with that shiny new bike? Go for a ride. In the woods. In the swampy woods. With mosquitoes. No joke, when we stopped to cross the street, Adam had 50-100 mosquitoes swarm on his back! I was wearing black legging capris and they apparently were mosquito bait. I had at least 200+ mosquito bites on my legs, from my butt to my ankles. It was SUPER bad. Luckily, they didn't scratch bad at all, maybe from eating plant based. I looked like I had chicken pox. 

Cub Scout Cross Over

After getting all nasty and sweaty playing gaga ball, and then eating dinner during a rain storm, the boys marched down to the outdoor chapel for their cross over ceremony. Ben is now a Weblow and Nick is a Wolf!

Gaga Ball

Camp Miakonda had a new activity this spring - a gaga ball pit. It's a weird game, but the kids had a super fun time. They asked for a pit in the circle for months. Especially after they built one at church and they are reminded weekly of how fun it is.

Lululemon Mother's Day Yoga

Jen was invited to teach a mother's day yoga class at Lululemon. I tagged along to take class and some pictures for her. They gave everyone a little bouquet of flowers afterward!

Mom's Night Out!

For Mother's Day, John and Adam got Tiffany and I tickets to see #imomsohard a comedy act that every single mother can relate to. The two women are hilarious! It was a super fun night with every other mom from Perrysburg and Sylvania. It was totally a who's who for the mom crowd. Note how close we were to the stage!

Nick's Field Trip to the Farm

The first grade always goes to a farm for their end of the year field trip. I didn't go, but one of the mom's took lots of pictures and shared :)  Nick had a lot of fun at the farm!
