Nick had a little bit of a rough start to the day once we got the ticket thing handled. He suffers from a sever case of hangy and is a terrible person who miraculously changes the second you give him food. Snickers commercials have nothing on him. While he was feeding the monster, Ben and I checked out the impressive Seuss Land at Universal. It was pretty fun. Ben thought at first it was for babies, but then he got into it. They had a carousel of crazy Seuss animals and a little water pad area. And we even got to see Thing 1 and Thing 2! By then Nick had transformed back into himself again and had fun, too!

Disney Vacation '16: Mary's Magical Birthday
Mary's (Grandma's) Magical Birthday was spent at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. We were 'those people' with matching shirts! It was a really fun day. After a ticket snafu when we go there, we were repaid for our time lost with some fast passes (came in handy later). We spent Grandma's birthday hanging out in Seuss land, Hogwarts, Jurassic Park and with some Avengers!

Disney Vacation '16: The Day With No Pictures
It would appear that no pictures were taken on the Tuesday of our trip (at least by me). We hung out around the house, played in the pool and had a down day. Tuesday night we had a nice dinner at the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration to celebrate Grandma's birthday.

Disney Vacation '16: A Little Star Wars Party Crashing
Hollywood Studios has a special Star Wars dessert party thing every night that includes special seating for the Star Wars fire works show. We were still hanging out in the Star Wars building due to the torential downpour, so we a little bit crashed the party. We saw more storm troopers, one of those little hooded things and had a light saber fight with a Disney guy. The boys LOVED it. And because Disney knows their audience so well, they had a whole room full of Star Wars video games on every imaginable platform - iPad, Infinity, PlayStation... The fireworks were cancelled due to the storm (strike 2 for seeing fireworks at Disney). But it was a legitimate cancellation. We were yards away from getting hit by lightening while were on the shuttle back to the car!
Disney Vacation '16: Return to the Dark Side
Well then everyone wanted to meet Kylo Ren to see what Nick was so afraid of. Aunt Sarah thought he was a little sketchy, too. Nick still wouldn't go near him.
Disney Vacation '16: The Light Side of the Force
After dinner at the Brown Derby, we made a mad dash through the rain back to the Star Wars building. This time the line to see Chewie was much shorter, so we stopped in to say hi. Nick liked Chewie but Chewie like Aunt Sarah more...
Disney Vacation '16: Kylo Ren, Part 1
We took the boys to see Kylo Ren. He had a much shorter line than Chewie. Hmm, wonder why. Nick was not so ok with Kylo Ren. He was a little bit scared of him!
Disney Vacation '16: A Little Frozen
We interupt this Star Wars series of posts for a little Frozen sing along musical. Grandma wanted to see the Frozen sing along show. The boys weren't so into it at first, but it was such a funny show that they loved it. We all did. The two narrators were hilarious! And at the end it 'snowed' foam all over us
