A Little Gymnast

Nick continued gymnastics class (at least for a little bit) after school started. He really enjoyed it and had fun and is pretty good with the upper body strength. At some point he decided he didn't want to do it anymore and after a lot of arguments, we let me stop going. We thing it was part of his power struggle with the first semester of Kindergarten. But he had fun while it lasted! 

Happy Anniversary

It was our anniversary. After facebook reminded me, I sent Adam a text to wish him a happy anniversary, but after 9 years, that's how you roll. Well, mid day I got a delivery at work! It was a really big and pretty Edible Arrangement! But I couldn't figure out who it was from! My first thought was my parents or Sarah, because Adam would definitely not have a. remembered and b. ordered me giant fruit bouquet. But I was wrong! It was Adam! I was totally shocked and surprised!

WW Knight Reserve

We went to check out the WW Knight preserve on the other side of Perrysburg for Labor Day. The boys had been begging to go fishing and I wanted to take some pictures and scope the place for fall pictures. It had been a long time since I had been out there, and it is a very pretty place. It does get a bit hot in the burning sun of the summer, though. The boys did not catch any fish, but I did get some nice nature pictures.

The Tooth Fairy is Coming!

Nick lost his first tooth! And he lost it at school. He then proceeded to lose it in my car on the way home from daycare...after lots of tears, a letter was written to the tooth fairy and she still came. 

Mud Hens Game

My work had a family picnic at the Mud Hens. It was pretty hot and steamy, but we suffered through it. The boys were very lucky and each caught a soft baseball from. And then, a person in front of us caught a fowl ball and gave it to the boys! They were very excited. They played baseball with it in the circle for weeks. 

Rough First Week of Kindergarten

It was a rough first week of kindergarten. Nick was very tired every night! We were well prepared for it and just let me do his thing, but he was a sleep very early every night that week.

Balyeat's Only Cedar Point!

The first Friday of both boys being in school and what did I do? Go to Cedar Point, of course! Sarah was in town so we made our second sister's trip of the year - a day at CP. We rode the new ride, which was pretty awesome. Hope the boys enjoyed their first Friday of the school year while I enjoyed America's Rockin' Roller Coast!

First Day of School

The first day of Kindergarten and 2nd grade :( The boys were super excited! I took them over to CDC, where they got on the bus and then met them at school when they got off the bus. I somehow lost the getting off the bus pictures, but it was very cute. Nick was so excited! And there are a ton of kindergartners on his bus, so he has gotten to know a lot of his classmates. They all thoroughly enjoy trading Pokemon cards on the bus.

Zoo'n It

Adam's work had a family picnic at the zoo. We didn't stay too long, but the boys did get to see the baby polar bear and ride the carousel.
