Monday Morning Fishing

Adam took the boys down to the Farmington River early Monday morning, the 4th, for some fishing. No bites, but lots of pretty views.

Hot Tubbing It

The after party was in the hot tub. A little warm water and bubbles helps children go to sleep fast and stay asleep long!

Exploring and Playing Ball

Sunday evening we had a family party at Casa de Pierce. The kids had a great time checking out the pond, playing ball and running around with the dogs. 

Farmington River Wading

After checking out the fish and big rocks, we headed over to the river to see if any fish were dumb enough to be biting in the middle of the afternoon. The answer was no, but the boys had fun playing in the river, non the less. 

Rock Climbers

Where there are big rocks, boys will climb. The flowers were for me. Nick is very thoughtful with picking wildflowers for me that I then need to produce in a perfect state 3 hours later...

Fish Feeding

Sunday morning we took the boys to the fish hatchery to check out all the trout. While there, the guy was going to feed the fish and ask the boys if they wanted to help. So they threw food at the fish and watched them go CRAZY in the water.

Sleeping Late

We invaded Casa de Pierce where the boys had a comfy bed in the basement. They slept in late (woot woot!) even with sun glaring across their faces. 

Wolny Family Fun in Connecticut

We've made it to July! (and today is 9/12...)

The first of July the Wolny crew headed east, to Connecticut, to see the Yuskales and Wolny relatives. First night's itinerary was dinner at Great Grandma's with a tickle war for dessert!
