Last Mommy and Nick Day

It was Nick and I's last mommy and Nick day :(  I was sad. We celebrated by going to Oak Openings and doing an impromptu photo shoot to commemorate the day. It was actually Nick's idea to take pictures. And he set up several of the shots. We had to get creative because I hadn't brought a tripod. 

A Wild Time at Scouts

For the last pack meeting of the school year, the boys had a special guest, the reptile guy! Needless to say, he was a huge hit. He had turtles, snakes, lizards - all sorts of super fun animals. The kids all loved it.

My annual mother's day pictures. Adam had to work all day, so John took pity on me and fed me (and the boys) a delicious dinner!

Happy Birthday, Eva!

We headed to Cleveland for Eva's 4th birthday, a My Little Pony party! The boys had lots of fun playing outside and with the girls' jeep. The battery couldn't keep up, so we used Ben power to move it around the yard. 

A Friday Trip to the Zoo

The zoo is very sneaky about announce things like baby polar bears making their public debut. But, I still found out and so Nick, Austin and I rushed to the zoo to see her! Only to find her taking a nap with her mom...But we still got to see the baby polar bear!

The chameleon was having a fun time walking around. He was a different color than normal, which was cool to see. 

And we almost saw Baru get out of the water. Never once have we seen that crocodile out of the water. But he got close, this time. 

Field Trip to the Farm

Ben's class took a field trip to a local farm for their end of the year trip. Ben LOVED the farm. He talked about it for weeks. He still asks to go back and see all the animals. He got to play with baby chicks, milk a cow, and go for a barrel ride. 

And It's Straight to Bed...

The boys 'decorated' the house for Adam while he was on his fishing trip. They went straight to bed after washing all the dirt off the side of the house...
