Cub Scout Bobcat Ceremony

Ben's Cub Scouts had a Bobcat ceremony at the November pack meeting. Unfortunately, Adam was out of town for the meeting and he was really bummed. Dziadziu came to be his stand-in since it was a ceremony that you did with a parent. Ben was very excited, particularly when he got to put paint on Dziadziu's face.

Scary Show??

You never know what you're going to get when you take selfies with Nick...If I had to guess we were watching Octonauts (because that's all Nick watches) but he was acting like it was a scary show.

Ice Cream Date

Adam was called out of town last minute for a week and a half, so it was just me and the boys. Over the weekend, we went on an ice cream date. Ben chose to not sit with Nick and me.

Jump! Jump! Jump!

The Cub Scout pack had an event at Sky Zone for the scouts and families. Because Ben sold over $500 in popcorn, he got to jump for free. Adam, Nick and I joined in the fun and paid to jump, too. I'm not sure who had the most fun - Adam, Ben or Nick. Adam got pretty into the dodgeball. So did Ben. Nick loved jumping in the foam pit. While jumping in was fun, getting out, was not for me.

Back to the Trees!

It was a nice afternoon for some family pictures, so we headed back out to the trees at Oak Openings. While some where not super cooperative, Nick and I had fun. And we got a few cute ones.

Happy Halloween!

It was a fun Halloween with a witch, a raptor and a Ninja turtle, and Adam. (heehee) I took the boys around the neighborhood while the dad's set up camp by the front yard fire pit to pass out candy. The boys walked around trick or treating for about 25 minutes and then were happy to come home. They had full buckets after 25 minutes, and I was perfectly fine with that!

Pumpkin Time!

How brave am I? I let the boys carve their own pumpkins this year. With a knife. And there was no blood! Honestly, me cutting off the top was probably the most dangerous. Nick had to start off easy with panting and work his way up.

Livin' The Dream

It's a short dream, but oh, to have two children argue over which vacuum they got to use, and then to USE it. It was glorious... And I didn't even ask them do vacuum. I just got out the vacuum and they both jumped up asking if they could help. Why yes, yes you can help.
