The Beach 2015: Shhh! The Secret LuLu's!

Destin is now complete. There is now a LuLu's! I saw it when we drove over the bridge into Destin and was super excited. They had only been open exactly a month and thus, no one had figured it out yet and the place wasn't crowded! Win Win!

And then there was this margarita - the JB's Best Margarita. Yup, got totally drunk on that before dinner. The JB's Best Margarita has now become the Barbarita of Tricia Ct (and I pretty much get tipsy off of one every time).

Ahhh, a beautiful day a the beach with crystal clear water of a nice refreshing temperature and smooth as glass.

And Ben spent several hours doing nothing but shnozeling for fish. Non-stop. Hours.

The Beach 2015: The Vacation of the Shnozel

The shnozel. Aka snorkel, now forever known as the shnozel. I bought the boys snorkels once we got to Destin because Ben had really liked playing with one a few weeks before vacation at a friend's house. Well, he LOVED his shnozel. He couldn't quite get snorkel right and it kept coming out shnozel and well, who wouldn't pick that one up? So we went shnozeling a lot. If Ben was near, in or submerged in water, he had his shnozel on and was floating along. I was a little a concerned a few times in the gulf when he started to drift away a bit. Almost wish I had a go pro to put on him just so I would know what all he was looking at with his head under water.

The Beach 2015: The Scuba Adventure

Sarah, now a certified scuba diver, went on a scuba adventure in Destin. She booked a charter that took her out to the jetty (pretty much right next to the neighborhood we were staying in). Donnie came along as her scuba buddy and also her videographer ;) Some videos of the scuba adventure...Not caught on video, the obscene amount of jelly fish stings Sarah got (but not to worry, they were not Portuguese man 'o wars or anything)

A 'walk' on the beach turned into a stop. wait. pick up shells. 'Mom, hold my shells'. Walk 50 feet. Stop. More shells...

This place is crawling with frogs. Unlike last year, we weren't pulling 20+ per day out of the pool filter (woohoo salt water pool!) But there was one on the sliding door of our bedroom.
