That's An Awful Long Neck You Have!
And at the end of the safari drive - the giraffes. Only Ben got to feed a giraffe a carrot. the One on Nick's side of the car wasn't interested.
Buffalo, Anyone?
So buffalo are pretty big animals.
And have really big heads...
And really big noses!
But cute little babies!
I see you, too
Boom - in the truck!
Good think I had a wide angle lens!
African Safari
The Sunday after the 4th, we decided to do something different, so we took the boys to the African Safari drive thru zoo in Port Clinton. (We kind of ended up doing a little 'stay-cation' for the 4th) I had never been there before and it had been a long time since Adam had been. As we drove up, the boys were super excited. We bought them each a container of food and a bag of carrots to feed the animals. The first section was a lot of llamas and el pakas, cows and some deer. The boys loved it!
Why, hello there
So, what exactly do you think those horns could do to a car??
Adam made a friend. Note, we are in the truck.
A double hump kind of day...
Nick got adventurous and fed a carrot to the deer! (The only way I could take pictures of him was in the mirror)
Adam almost lost an arm feeding these two deer
I think Nick did lose his cup feeding the deer. It was slightly challenging for him to feed the animals in the high truck, but I was still ok with being higher up.

Our First Trip to the Perrysburg Pool
We finally made it to the Perrysburg pool, for the 4th of July. Between cool days, rain and other things going on, we hadn't had a chance to get to the pool. The boys had fun, even though the water was really cold! Adam and I had a hard time getting into the water because it was so cold, but the boys had no problem with it at all!
