A Mad Hatter of a Cake

I made a Mad Hatter cake for Julia's 4th birthday, a Alice in Wonderland theme. I tried my hand at a wonky cake with a chestshire cat and mad hatter. It didn't turn out too bad!

Oh, The Weather In April In Toledo...

Oh, you have to love the weather in Toledo in the spring. We started out the day in jeans and tshirts. By the time we go home from soccer, the thermostat in the backyard said 85°! So then it was pool time. Three hours later, the temperature was 65° and it was back to sweatshirts and fleece lined pants!

Phew! That Was A Crazy Little Storm!

It was a random Thursday, putting the boys to bed, reading stories when my phone buzzed with a tornado warning! So, we moved story time to the basement and turned on the TV. A crazy little freak cell came roaring through Perrysburg, bringing with it hail and a tornado. The funnel cloud was right near our house, but there was not damage. Adam's truck was saved from hail damage by the tree he was parked under. The neighbor wasn't so lucky!

Putting The New Table to Good Use

Nick has been putting the new table to good use. Now that he's got a place he can paint at, he asks to paint all the time!

Wolny Cousin Holiday Photo Op

They are getting better that this group photo thing! No one was screaming or running away (note how Elaina is boxed in and trapped on the couch...) And then there's Nick. . . . 

The Easter Bunny Came!

The Easter bunny was good to the boys this year! He brought a new folding table and chairs, lacrosse sticks, chocolate, footballs and jump ropes! The table and chairs have been a good addition - the boys do pretty much everything at the little table now.
