Ben is playing soccer with the Perrysburg Youth Soccer Association. They play/practice around the corner from the house (super convenient) and he is one a team of all kindergarten aged boys. He isn't a hug fan of practice because he is so tired on Thursday evenings and he isn't a huge fan of drills, but he loves to play come game time! He scored a goal or two during his first game and had a great time playing!

A Mommy and Nick Day: Picking Apples!
After checking out the animals, we headed for the apples. After an adventurous/treacherous drive to get to the gala trees, we started picking. The trees were LOADED with apples. We filled up a huge bag without leaving one spot on one tree! And they were all perfect height for Nick to pick. Nick filled up our bag in minutes. He did not eat any apples while picking, but did polish off 3 apples by the time we got home!

The Animals of Johnston's Fruit Farm
For one of our Nick and Mommy days, Nick and I went to Johnston's Fruit Farm. They have some animals to check out and lots and lots of fruit. We checked out the animals first. They had baby chickens (not sure if you can see they had caught a worm), and a baby lamb (but they were skittish) and goats and a mini horse (not pictured). Nick had fun checking out all the fun farm animals!

The 'Mega' Moon
My moon photography needs a little work yet, but I finally caught one of the super moons (and the last). It didn't seem that super to me, but oh well. Still got some interesting shots.

Happy 7th Anniversary!
A little mini collage for our 7th anniversary. We had a family day on our anniversary - went to 577, had lunch at Swig and enjoyed the nice weather!

A Family Adventure at 577
After Nick and I checked out the 577 Foundation, we took Adam and Ben back that weekend (and lots of bug spray). We checked out the biodome and some different areas of the gardens. We also walked down to the river, but that wasn't super exciting, except for all the mosquitoes that attacked us. I found the perfect spot for pictures, and snapped a few before we were terrorized with bug bites. Ben is going to the 577 next week for a field trip at school and I plan to go back a few times this fall for more picture taking practice.
