Snow.

A few pictures of the last snow before the 'thaw' (haha) and rain and refrezze. We didn't really loose that much snow in the thaw/rain, but the boys can now ice skate in the sand box. I have decided to give up all hope of spring and ever seeing grass and leaves again. We are living in Elsa's frozen h*** and can't figure out who's frozen heart to thaw to make it all end. [Have I mentioned yet that I am subjected to the entire Frozen sound track twice a day in order to have quiet in the car?]

We Got A Picture of All 4!

We beat the odds and got a decent picture of all four kids! In the world of under 5 year old photography, it's equivalent to seeing a unicorn.

Ben LOVES his baby cousin Elaina. He loved to hold her and play with her and coo in her face and she seemed to like it, too.

Some quality cousin times, including new cousin Elaina!

All These, For Me??

Nick got some pretty awesome birthday presents! He got a Jake Hideout, a sand box digger crane, puzzles, a magna doodle and soccer croquet. He was very excited about everything.

Happy Birthday Time!

Nick gets so excited about singing Happy Birthday, especially when it's his birthday! The opposite of Ben who still covers his ears and used to cry. He has some great facial expressions, as always!

A View of the Icy River

I took the boys down to Sidecut to get a few pictures of the ice on the river. At Sidecut it has been mostly ice with a little bit of open water. These were taken a week ago. Now, after the thaw and the rain, this road is closed (along with Sidecut park) and I have seen ice from the river pushed over the road and on the other side as I drive over it on the expressway.

A Bucky Ship Birthday Cake

Nick asked for a Jake and the Neverland Pirates birthday this year so I decided to try my hand at a Bucky the pirate ship cake. Not exactly the perfect recreation, but you get the idea. And it tasted pretty good. And Nick was happy.

Working on his Technique

Now that he is 5, Ben needs to start learning the ways of the world, like the engineer preferred method of loading a dishwasher.
