A Noon-Year's Eve Party

We celebrated a Noon-Year's Eve with Cameryn, Avery, Andrew, Matthew and Logan. The kids had fun playing for quite a while (breaking in the new Christmas presents) and then after lunch and cleaning up, they got some fun surprises. I picked up some sparkling cider, noise makers, champagne flutes and party poppers. The kids loved the little party favors.

Retro is Always Better

And expanse of brand new toys and what do they play with - the 1984 toy computer.

The Children's Museum

Last Friday we headed to the Children's Museum while the boys played golf. They had a new river/water/shipping exhibit that the boys really enjoyed. Ben just wanted to play in the port exhibit that has the cargo ship. But they also had fun in the architecture exhibit and bayou playground.

CRAZY!

Balloon 'Art' Courtesy of the French Quarter

Last Thursday we headed down to the Quarter for the afternoon to see what there was to see. After some shopping at Anthropologie and lunch at Landry's, we walked around a bit. There was a balloon artist in the square who was more than happy to make a pirate sword and gun with a belt for Ben, but of course with his own little funny twist...He used flesh colored balloons for all three. Ben got a few strange looks walking down the street, but he didn't notice. He had no clue, which is good! Nick got a doggie bracelet.

But I Don't Have A Camera...

So I got a new camera and Adam got a new camera, so of course what am I going to hear next...'But I don't have a camera' from Ben. So I gave him my phone to take pictures. Thank goodness for digital pictures that basically free memory. If I had to use film with him, I'd be poor. He took 100 pictures in 3 minutes. I don't know where he gets that from.

He had to pick some of grandma's flowers for my hair.
