Sunday afternoon Sarah and I hit up the outlet malls while everyone else took a nap. Sarah and I got some mad deals at the outlets, thus we made the better decision to shop rather than sleep. We even found the long-looked for inflatable football that does not absorb water and is much better for a beach/water environment. After our yummy steak dinner at the condo, the boys headed down to the beach to play football. Nick was obsessed with playing football all week. Football then led to tackling (shocking). Ben may have a good 15 pounds on Nick, but man, Nick can take him down! And keep him down.

The Beach '13: If You Dig a Hole
On Sunday we set up camp on the beach next to a pre-dug hole. Nick LOVED the big hole. He helped dig it a bit deeper, but the main purpose of the hole was to jump into it. Jump and jump and jump into the hole. He even got Aunt Sarah to jump in the hole, too.
The Beach '13: Sun, Sand and Surf!
Sunday morning we walked across the street for church, then had some breakfast than packed up for the beach! The boys had a great time playing in the waves and sand. Ben got to experience more than a few waves breaking on top of him. Actually we all did. As you can see in a few pictures, we all got at least one or two waves by surprise!

The Beach '13: Getting Straight to Business
Saturday after dinner and drama and tears, the boys pulled it together to head down to the beach. It was what they had been waiting for during that entire 16 hour car ride! Finally - the world's biggest sandbox! Grandma bought the boys nets to catch fish (a major hit and almost always on their person). It took Ben about three minutes to get into the water and then it was open season. Nick didn't really want to get in the water. He just wanted to play in the sand. They found some other kids to play with and had a great time with Grandma!
This is the only little fish Ben caught all week.
