Adam's Dream Come True

And my worst nightmare. Two weeks ago, as I was driving the boys to Sharon's I noticed that my car was revving up before shifting gears. I kind of got concerned, but continued the drive to work, noticing that the problem was getting worse and started happening between all the gear shifts. After discussing the issue with a few people at work, I decided that it could be worse than I thought. I was hoping that it was just a leak of transmission fluid. However, that was not the case as I found out the following day at the dealership shop. It was the guts of the transmission :(  Luckily, the powertrain warranty was still good for 3 more months, so everything was covered. But in the mean time, the dealership had only one loaner available - an Aveo. Adam has teased me for the last 8 years that my next car would be an Aveo. And this one was bottom of the line - no power anything (mirrors, locks...). Adam thought it was the funniest thing ever. It was not a good week and a half, to say the least. I now have my car back and everything is better. And I refuse to ever drive a car with manual locks ever again.

Dirty?? Nnnnoooooo, Never

Boys are completely disgusting. A worm would be jealous of all the dirt these two carry around with them.

Happy Mother's Day!

Somehow I didn't get any pictures with Ben on Mother's day this year. But Nick was a good sport and took lots of pictures with me.

The Wolny Princes

Last week we helped Cameryn celebrate her 4th birthday. Her party theme was Princesses and Knights. The kids made crowns and played swords and had a blast! Ben was extremely shy for a while, while Nick dug right in. Nick made a crown for himself and for Ben. He had to wear his sunglasses to the party.

After presents and cake the kids headed outside to play swords. Of course it was the coldest day in two weeks, but the kids were running around so much, they didn't notice. The dad's took quite a beating from the kids!

The happy birthday girl!

We Dig, Dig, Dig The Day Away

Perrysburg changed garbage services and we now have the really big totes for garbage and recycle. Well, they don't really fit in the garage, so Adam put down some pavers next to the garage to place them on. The boys helped him prep the site. They are excellent dirt movers. Almost to a professional level.

Ben found a worm and was using the doctor's kit ear examiner thing to check out the worm.

Dirt relocation mission - complete! (well, at least the majority of the dirt was relatively close to the appropriate location)

Their Own Personal Hay Ride

The boys love playing on Dzaidzui's lawnmower. He hooked the trailer up to move the picnic table, but it quickly became the boys own personal 'hay ride'. They played on the tractor and trailer all day. If you couldn't find Nick, the first place to look was the lawn mower.

The Bowling Wolny's

Grandma made a bowling lane for the boys in the backyard! They thought it was a lot of fun to knock down the pins, whether with the bowling balls or their feet or their entire body.
