When it's 75° in Ohio in April, you take advantage of it rain or shine. Last Thursday was super nice, but of course it started raining as soon as we got home. Oh well, that's what rain coats and mudders are for. The boys headed outside to play trucks, fence volleyball and on the swingset. We had probably a good 45 minutes before it started to storm and had to head inside.

Bball at B-dub's
Ben's most favoritest restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings. He asks to go there probably once a week. We indulged him last Wednesday. The real reason he likes it is for the celery and the games. Adam let the boys play the basketball game this time. There were only a few stray balls that went into the restaurant.

Nick's High Fives
Nick has a little High Five routine that Adam taught him. First is the high five, then a fist bump (standard style), then a top and bottom bump. This isn't quite it, but I always think it's funny when he does it.

Hello Fishies!
The other night we took a walk over to see if the fish had 'woken up' for the spring. And they had in fact - and I think they got bigger! I think this was the first time that Nick could throw bread to the fish.

Stuck Mommy, Stuck!
The other day I heard Nick in his room, screwing around. Then I heard a crying/whining sound. I called up to him and he responded, 'Stuck! Mommy, Stuck!' So I went to investigate and this is what I found... Someone was apparently jumping on the bed and got stuck between the wall and the bed. I took a few pictures and video before I released him. I thought it was funny. Maybe little monkeys shouldn't jump on the bed!

Second Time Around...
Sunday afternoon we headed back to the park to fly kites with Lexi. Ben rode his bike to the park - again! This time, there was no daddy AAA to come pick him up though, since he was playing golf. After flying kites for a bit, we played at the playground and headed home. It took a while to make our way home - Ben had a mini-melt down but Lexi pulled him through and he trudged on. Then they both had to stop to 'stretch their legs' a few times. Then we stopped at Cameryn's for a few minutes...and about an hour after leaving the park, we made it home!

Testing Endurance
Sunday morning we got adventurous and decided to bike to the park. Adam walked Monster while I took Nick in the trailer and Ben rode his bike. Ben did a great job riding to the park, especially when you consider it's only like his 5th time riding his bike. He doesn't know how to use his brakes (slight issue) and it took a few times to learn how to properly cross a street, but none the less, he rode the entire 1.5 miles to the park. It was however, very windy. The wind was to our back going to the park and in our face coming home. That was a problem. Ben made it about 1/2 of the way home and pooped out. And I couldn't really blame him because the wind was really strong. I was struggling against it. Luckily, Adam had beat us home so we were able to call AAA to come get Ben.
Coasting while the wind is on our side.
And he's done. Looking for a ride.
Oh, What A Night
This is going to be a reoccurring theme this spring/summer - go outside, stay out for 6 hours. That is what happened Friday night. We went outside around 5ish, after some good nap time and played and played and played in the cul de sac. At least the kids did. As the sun started to set, it started to get cold. So, do you go inside? No, you just drag the fire pit out to the side yard and send the boys to Churchill's to get more wine. And when the kids get tired? Have them drag out their sleeping bags and pillows. So what if it's only 39° out. There was a fire to keep them warm. In retrospect, that fourth bottle of wine may not have been the best idea (Saturday morning was a little rough), but otherwise, it was a great night!!
Adam stuck Ben in a tree. Ben wasn't happy.
Nick will just sit and play in the neighbor's Power Wheels for hours. We disconnected the battery so no bad driving this time. But he doesn't care. He just loves playing in it.
Table wagon for two.
Cul de sac fire pit
Cul de sac bedtime
Ben did fall asleep outside. Adam had to carry him inside. Then he had to carry me inside.

Our First Trip of Many This Year
Thursday we took our first of many trips to the park this year. We rode over to the park with Candi and the kids. Ben ran around with the girls like a maniac. Nick was a bit more reserved. He didn't want to go down the slides or really play on the big stuff. He just wanted to bounce and do the merri-go-round.

New Ride!
I got a new bike! I sold my road bike and got a hybrid instead, which is much more practical these days. Today was finally a nice day, so I piled the boys into the bike trailer and we hit the open road!
We headed for the park, which is only a 1.5 mile ride, but the boys both brought blankets, stuffed animals and toys. But, on the upside, there were no arguments, no fighting and everyone was happy. So hey, take whatever you want if it means no hitting.
