Beach Vacation '12: The Boat!

Thursday we rented a boat for the day. It was the first time Nick had been on a boat, and he promptly fell asleep once we got going.

We stopped at Tacky Jacks for lunch and headed back out on the water. Ben took a little rest while we looked for a good spot to go swimming.

Beach Vacation '12: Fireworks, Day 1

The cities of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores had a fireworks show on the beach on the 4th. The fireworks were shot off about 6 miles down the beach, but we still had a perfect view from the comforts of our condo balcony!

Nick really, really liked the pool. He went running for the door every time I asked him if he wanted to go swimming.

After a yummy dinner, Ben got up to dance to the band playing behind us. 

Then we headed out to the beach to play in the sand and listen to the band.
