Eggs
I had to share this - I laugh every time I open the eggs. I think I got an osterich egg in the mix! Though, fitting for the food monster, Ben.
Feeding the Fish
When we go for a walk in the neighborhood behind us, we sometimes stop to feed the fish in the pond. There are a ton of fish, some of them really big. Poor Monster, she doesn't want to feed the fish, she wants to eat the fish!

Put Your Shoes On
This totally cracks Adam and I up! Whenever you say to Ben, 'Put your shoes on', he immediately plops down where ever he is and lies down so you can put his shoes on. He learned it at Sharon's where she does this every time he puts on his shoes.

Cage The Beast!
I got out Monster's puppy play yard to see if Ben would tolerate an outside playpen, and he seemed to like it (I think he likes anything as long as he is outside). Now I just need to find all the pieces for the plastic play yard to put it together for him. It will make outside time a lot easier since Ben wanders all over the yard and finds every stick imaginable. I wonder if you can fit a sandbox inside a play yard...hmmm

A Hot Mess
That's what I call a hot mess! Ben kissed the pavement yesterday, resulting in a busted up nose and forehead and then he was playing with chalk and dirt and sticks and mulch this afternoon.

15 Month Pictures
It's a few weeks early, but it was the best opportunity I had to get some cute pictures. Someone has gotten to be a little stinker and not very cooperative when I try to take nice pictures of him.

Easter Basket
The Easter Bunny didn't exactly hide Ben's basket in an inconspicuous place, but that made it much easier for Ben to find it! In fact, his Easter basket was hidden in Ben's favorite place to hide (which is pretty funny since we haven't lowered the curtain rod since getting new drapes)
Coloring Eggs
I thought I'd be crazy and see if Ben could dye eggs this year. He tried, but it didn't quite work out - he spilled green dye. So instead he ended up sitting and watching Daddy dye eggs and Mommy decorate the bunny cake.

Egg Hunt at the Zoo
Oh, what a crazy day at the zoo it was on Friday! The zoo was having an egg hunt for some of the animals for Easter, and it just happened to be the most beautiful day in 8 months! Needless to say, the zoo was a zoo. We had no problems getting in the backway, but most people waited an hour in traffic to park and then another 30 minutes to get tickets. But, the zoo is so big, I didn't really notice all the crowds except in the African exibit.
Ben enjoyed the animals. He liked the monkeys and orangatans which where very playful. And he liked Louie the elephant and Sammy and Lulu the rhinos. He's very into pointing at things and saying 'What's that?' at the moment.
