4 Months and On the Move

Ben is 4 months now. He weighed in a 12lb 2oz, 25 in long at his last check up. He's a tall skinny kid. He now eats (or devours) cereal, so we expect the weight to come up a bit. But with the cereal has come 10 hours of continous sleep! Yay!! Other develops of late include feet in the mouth, thumb sucking (which is be discontinued if I have anything to say about it), and teething. I expect we will see the first tooth within a week.

Uh Oh

Ben playing on the floor. Earlier in the day I found Ben in the middle of the living room after putting him under his octopus. He had rolled about 10 feet in a matter of minutes. It was a little surprising to see him not where I left him. Ben is officially on the move now!

Ben spent Saturday at Wildwood with Kendall, Kadie and Kamryn.

Practicing Sitting

Ben has started to practice sitting. He doesn't really like to be in a reclined position anymore and tries to sit up. So we started to practice sitting. He's getting there. I think the longest he has gone is a count of about 3.

Happy Baptism!

Ben was baptized at St. Rose today. His Great-Grandma Yuskales and Auntie Gwen came from Connecticut and Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sarah came from New Orleans for the big event. Ben was a very good boy during the ceremony-never cried. And he was the center of attention at his party. More pictures to come tomorrow

Sitting at the table like a big boy

Ben now sits at the table with us when we eat dinner. He likes playing with his toys and sitting up high. He's a little small in his chair, but he'll grow into it.

Sometimes he wishes he got to eat yummy food too.
